New Canaan Veterinary Hospital in New Canaan, CT is proud of our kennel. The cages are spacious and beautiful in a large kennel with remote controlled skylights for fresh air and light, along with self-contained air filtration system that is frequently cleaned. All dogs are hand walked at least twice a day and have a clean, soft fuzzy fleece, blanket or towel in with them.
Our kennel attendants are carefully educated by our professional and paraprofessional staff, and they remain part of our hospital family for a long time. In fact, many of our kennel attendants move on to become technician assistants in our hospital. We pride ourselves in providing superlative, trustworthy care. Our boarding clients have the satisfaction of knowing that their pets are being cared for by professionals who observe them constantly throughout the day and can spot problems before they become a significant health risk. The trust you place in you pet's caretaker depends upon the accredited credentials of the staff and the cleanliness of the facility. Many of the cages and runs connect to one another; that has given us a great deal of flexibility for multi-pet household animals to be with each other part of the day and separate during feeding time and sleep time, the times when animals are more likely to squabble or lose patience with each other.
Please don’t hesitate to come by to take a tour, we are proud of our spotless kennel space and hope you will love it too!!!For the health and safety of all of our guests, we require our dog friends to be current on Distemper, Rabies, Bordetella, Leptospirosis 4-way & Canine Influenza strains H3N2 & H3N8 and our cat friends must be current on Rabies and Distemper.
